Nebraska Basketball Officials (NBO) are reminded that if you are a returning official with the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA), you must pay your 2016-17 fees and register by Monday, October 31 to avoid paying a late fee. The fee is $45, but will increase to $55 from November 1 thru the 18th. Officials who are new to the NSAA have until November 18 to register without paying a late fee. This only applies to officials who have not been previously registered with the NSAA.
Anyone wishing to work games for NBO this season should have already paid their $50 membership fee in order to be registered on Arbiter and to begin being assigned games. If you have paid your fees but are not on Arbiter, please email Al Monaco at monaco.nbo@gmail.com.
The date for the NSAA Part 1 Open Book test review will be Wednesday, November 9 at 6:30 pm at the Omaha Burke High School Auditorium. Omaha Sports Academy assignor Brent Robinson will lead the test review. It is open to all basketball officials wishing to attend. The NSAA Part 1 Open Book test is due on Friday, November 18.
Anyone with questions can email NBO Varsity Assignor Al Monaco at monaco.nbo@gmail.com or NBO Lower Level Assignor Justin Albrecht at albrecht.nbo@gmail.com.
