Nebraska Basketball Officials to Host Pre-Season Meeting and NSAA Test Review Wednesday, November 3 at 6:30 p.m., in Omaha Burke High School Auditorium

Nebraska Basketball Officials will have its Pre-Season meeting and NSAA test review on Wednesday, November 3 at 6:30 pm in the Omaha Burke High School Auditorium. All officials registered with NBO should attend this meeting. Those still wishing to officiate games this winter in the Metro Conference may also register that evening.

As a reminder, all returning officials wishing to work varsity games must be registered and pay their NSAA dues by October 31. New officials have until November 19 to register, but the NSAA Part 1, Open Book test is also due on November 19.

The NSAA Online Rules meeting may now be viewed for free from October 25 through November 9. From November 10 to November 16, officials will be required to pay a $25 late fee to view the meeting and meet requirements to work varsity contests. There will be a $50 late fee charged to view the Online Rules meeting from November 17 to 19.

Please plan on printing out the test and bring it to the meeting. We will go through all 100 questions on the test.

There are a few new mechanics and points of emphasis to discuss at the meeting. We will also go over procedures for the upcoming season at both the varsity and lower levels.

Both varsity assignor Al Monaco and lower level assignor Brent Robinson will be at the meeting and be able to answer questions. For more information, you can email Monaco at Monaco.nbo@gmail.com or Robinson at Robinson.nbo@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing all NBO officials on Wednesday, November 3.
