Monday Nights in June Filled With Varsity Leagues for Boys and Girls; Please Text Your Availability to 402-618-2859

The entire month of June will feature Varsity Basketball Leagues for Boys and Girls in the Metro on Monday nights. Varsity Boys League will be played at the Iowa West Fieldhouse as games will be played at 6 and 7 pm on all courts. Varsity Girls League will be played at Papillion-LaVista High School. Game times will be 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 with two games played in the North gym and one game played in the Auxiliary gym.

Game dates will be June 4, June 11, June 18 and June 25. Please text your availability for these dates to 402-618-2859. Please be specific with your requests. I will schedule you according to your requests, but there may be times I have to move people from one venue to the other in order to fill games.

All of the games are running clock games. Some special rules are used, including shooting one free throw for two points, in order to get more actual playing time for everyone.

While these are primarily Varsity Leagues, these games provide excellent opportunities for Lower Level officials. If you are a JV or Lower Level official, get me your availability and if I can work you in, I will. We use 2-person crews for these games, but you might want to work two games and volunteer and run 3-persons in another game. Or, if you’d like to let me know and volunteer to work a 3-person game at the Fieldhouse, that can be arranged, as well.

Thank you.
