Referee Schedules Released for the Opening Weekend of Conqueror Basketball League, Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19; Please Text Your Confirmations to Brent at 402-618-2859 or Jim at 402-215-1740

Here are the referee schedules for the opening weekend of Conqueror Basketball League, Saturday and Sunday, October 18 and 19. Please text your confirmations to Brent at 402-618-2859 or Jim at 402-215-1740.

First, I want to thank those of you who attended the pre-season meeting last Wednesday evening. It was a great turnout.

But now we need to get everyone to register their emails at nbostripes.com. That way you will get all of our emails containing instructions on turning in your availability and then confirming your games via text to Jim and myself. All you have to do is type your email into the box at the bottom right hand corner of this post. Then, when you receive an invitation, just respond and you’re IN!!!!

If it doesn’t work, text your email address to Brent at 402-618-2859 and he will get you set up.

Here’s a little more information on how to get games — be flexible!!! There were several of you who did not get games this week because you only gave us like 3 or 4 games from 8 am to noon on either Saturday or Sunday. There are not enough games in the mornings for us to get everyone games! Try giving availability after noon and we can almost guarantee you will get games.

Next weekend is going to be much busier with both Conqueror League and the first tournament of the season. That will open up more early morning games, but it still might not be enough. So, try being flexible.

There were almost 200 games this weekend. Next weekend that number will be over 400! Things are going to be crazy in the coming weeks as the tournaments get bigger. We are going to need more officials! Pass the word!!!

2025-26 Conqueror Basketball League and Elkhorn Attack/Elite Youth Tournaments Announced

Schedules for the 2025-26 Fall and Winter Conqueror Basketball League, as well as Elkhorn Attack and Elite Tournaments, were announced Wednesday night at the Nebraska Basketball Officials Youth Division meeting held at Union Bank and Trust Sports Complex2 South, home of the Attack/Elite programs.

The referee schedule for this Fall and Winter will be one of the busiest ever and will include two tournaments in Lincoln in January and February, expanding the landscape of Attack/Elite basketball. It will also include the large Bennington Basketball Association Tournament, scheduled for the weekend of January 9-11.

The Fall Conqueror Basketball League has 446 teams registered, making it the largest youth basketball league in the Omaha Metro area this October, November and December. That number is expected to grow to over 500 for the Winter season, which begins January 3, 2026.

More news will be forthcoming later this fall as basketball referee opportunities will be expanding in the near future. Stay tuned for those announcements.

Here is the schedule that has been announced, so far.

Conqueror Basketball League Referee Meeting Will Be Wednesday, October 8, 7 pm, at Union Bank and Trust Sports Complex2 South

The 2025 Fall Conqueror Basketball League will be the largest youth basketball league in the Omaha Metro area with nearly 450 teams. A meeting for officials is scheduled for this Wednesday, October 8, at 7 pm at Union Bank and Trust Sports Complex2 South (Elkhorn Attack/Elite Building).

The meeting will go over procedures, rules and the payment process for the league. We will also hand out the complete winter schedules for tournaments. Todd and Dannye Jakopovic, who run the Elkhorn Attack Boys and Elkhorn Elite Girls Basketball programs, will be able to answer questions on the league and the payment process. Assignors Brent Robinson and Jim Sauer will answer questions on assignments.

We encourage officials to attend the meeting to get all their questions answered and get payroll set up before the start of the season, which is set to tip-off the weekend of October 18-19.

Officials will have multiple opportunities to officiate games during the Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer of 2025/26. Pay for all Conqueror League Basketball and Elkhorn Attack and Elite tournaments will be $30 per game. There are no membership fees and officials will NOT be required to sign any contracts. Other tournaments that our officials work will be paid according to the type of tournament. Stop clock, AAU-style tournaments will pay more.

We will continue to use the NBOStripes website (www.nbostripes.com) to post availability requests and weekend schedules. Brent Robinson and Jim Sauer will be handling administration and assigning for the league and tournaments.

If you have questions, you can text Robinson at 402-618-2859 or Sauer at 402-215-1740.
